2010 ERNOP Conference in Budapest

The third ERNOP meeting is kindly hosted by Éva Kuti (Budapest College of Management) and Klára Czike (Board of the Hungarian Volunteer Centre) and will take place at the Budapest College of Management, Budapest, on Monday February 1, 2010. The conference organization committee consists of Éva Kuti, Sarah Borgloh and Pamala Wiepking.

Strategic workshops (ERNOP members only):
 
S1/S2. Development formal ERNOP board: how to elect board members, what will be their tasks, responsibilities, purpose and objectives? And how to professionalize ERNOP and new strategies for acquiring funding, including planning schedule of actions for the next two years.
 
S3. How to collaborate in research projects and writing research proposals? Developing guidelines and planning schedule of actions for the next two years.

Lunch with plenary summary and discussion of strategic workshops

Academic workshops (open to all interested):
 
A2. The streamlining of methodologies for international comparative research on philanthropy as well as the development of strategies for European-wide longitudinal data gathering.
 
A3. National policies and the role of the philanthropic sector in different countries, among which the relation between philanthropy, the state and private companies.
